Get ready with us for a brand-new and exciting chapter in the history of the former Hotel Post-Victoria! In May 2025, the former Residence Victoria reopened its doors, fully renewed, as Bella Posta Apartments, offering carefree holiday happiness.
The old main building, Hotel Post, is currently undergoing a major renovation and will reopen as Hotel Bella Posta just in time for Easter 2026.

Renovation work had already begun last year, and on 29 May 2025 the Bella Posta Apartments opened their doors. They not only offer the familiar beautiful location on the quiet edge of Oberbozen, just a short walk from the cable car station to Bolzano, and stunning views of meadows, forests and the South Tyrolean mountains, but also include the South Tyrol Guest Pass and modern comforts for all guests.
Our studios are available without catering until 28 February 2026. After that, Bella Posta will close until the grand reopening together with the main building on 27 March 2026.

Does the Hotel Post-Victoria in Oberbozen still exist?
Both buildings that made up the Hotel Post-Victoria underwent or are still undergoing extensive renovations and transformations. The annex - formerly Villa Victoria - was reopened on May 29, 2025. The renovation of the main building - formerly Hotel Post - started in spring 2025. Together, these two buildings will become Bella Posta, a unique holiday retreat for both our loyal guests and new visitors!
When will the hotel reopen?
The annex of Bella Posta, which houses the new studios, already opened on May 29, 2025. Once the renovation of the main building is completed, both buildings will open together as the Bella Posta Hotel at Easter 2026.
Who are the hosts at Bella Posta?
With the reopening of Bella Posta, new hosts are welcoming guests at the house. Back in 1908, the Holzner family’s founder found his way to Ritten mountain and opened what is now the iconic Parkhotel Holzner. Four generations later, the Holzners still run the Parkhotel with passion - and are excited to add Bella Posta to their family of beautiful hotels in Oberbozen.
What’s changing at Villa Victoria?
The annex – formerly Villa Victoria – was completely rebuilt between 2024 and 2025. The façade of the new building closely resembles that of the old house. Inside, however, stylish studios for guests have been created: some are ideal for solo travellers and couples, others for families with children or friends travelling together. All studios feature their own private outdoor space, whether it’s a small garden, a balcony or a spacious terrace.
Will there be any dining options at Bella Posta Apartments?
Until the full opening of the entire establishment, the studios are ideal for freedom-loving self-caterers and come equipped with a small kitchen. Guests also receive a vademecum with recommendations for cafés, inns and restaurants in Oberbozen and Bolzano.
Once the entire Bella Posta Hotel opens at Easter 2026, all rooms, suites and studios can be booked with the Dolce Vita All Day dining offer — an “all-inclusive light” concept for a completely carefree holiday.

What’s changing at Hotel Post?
The renovation of the former Hotel Post started in spring 2025, following a detailed planning phase. The first steps include refurbishing the roof, electrical, and plumbing systems, followed by a complete redesign of the rooms, common areas, the large panoramic terrace, and the pool area.
We aim to preserve as much of the historic garden as possible, including its beautiful old trees and flower beds, while also modernizing the parking area.
The new Hotel Bella Posta will offer around 20 rooms for couples and families, cozy lounges, a large dining hall, a stunning panoramic terrace, and an expanded spa area with a pool, sauna, and relaxation rooms.
The road that previously separated the garden from the hotel park will be rerouted, creating a car-free, fully accessible park area directly connected to the hotel.
