Who is Signorina Victoria, really?

Our most charming resident – the soul of Bella Posta
At Bella Posta lives someone who doesn’t need a room – and yet is everywhere: Signorina Victoria. She’s our mascot, our little ambassador and sometimes even a bit like the heart of the house. Cheerful, full of spirit – and always just a little too early awake.

A morning with Signorina Victoria

When the sun rises above the mountain peaks, she’s already slipped into her hiking boots, watered the flowers on her balcony and is humming an Italian tune. Then she disappears for a while – sometimes for a cappuccino on the piazza in Bolzano, sometimes for a stroll through the meadows on Renon mountain. “I need both,” she says, “the wide open mountains and the scent of olive oil.”
A little dolce, a little vita

Signorina Victoria loves flowing dresses, pasta, sunshine and everything that makes life feel lighter. And that’s exactly what she brings to Bella Posta: a sense of lightness, warmth and southern joie de vivre.

Where does her name come from?

The name “Victoria” is no coincidence. It is a loving tribute to the history of this house. Long before the traditional Hotel Post Victoria became today’s Bella Posta, the building carried this name for many decades. The former annex, Villa Victoria, was also part of this story.
When the house was reimagined and led into a new era, a piece of its past remained alive – in the figure of Signorina Victoria. She symbolizes the connection between past and present: the elegance of earlier times and the lightness of life that defines Bella Posta today. Victoria reminds us that a place never truly starts over. It evolves.

Her mission

She’s not a manager and not a receptionist – but she knows her way around perfectly: she’ll show you where to get the best aperitivo, where to find the most beautiful view and how to make your holiday at Bella Posta simply wonderful. Always with a wink – and sometimes with a flower petal in her hair.
More than just a mascot

Signorina Victoria is part of the hotel’s identity. She connects the history of the house with the spirit of today. She embodies Dolce Vita All Day – not as a concept, but as an attitude: enjoying life consciously, welcoming guests warmly, living with ease – without forgetting one’s roots.
Perhaps that is her greatest secret: a reminder that true hospitality is born from history, character, and a touch of personality.
