Renovation work already started last year, and on May 29, 2025, it's finally happening – the grand opening of Bella Posta Apartments! Here, 14 brand-new apartments are waiting for freedom-loving travelers. Besides the unbeatable location on the peaceful edge of the small village of Oberbozen, close to the cable car station to Bolzano, and the stunning views of meadows, forests, and the South Tyrolean mountains, you'll now also enjoy fully equipped kitchens, the Südtirol Guest Pass, and modern comfort for all guests.

Does the Hotel Post-Victoria in Oberbozen still exist?
Right now, both buildings that made up the Hotel Post-Victoria are undergoing extensive renovations and transformations. The dependance - formerly Villa Victoria - will reopen on May 29, 2025. The renovation of the main building - formerly Hotel Post - will start in spring 2025. Together, these two buildings will become Bella Posta, a unique holiday retreat for both our loyal guests and new visitors!

The Bella Posta Apartments will welcome guests from May 29, 2025 – look forward to special opening-year deals! The main building, which will be called Hotel Bella Posta, will open just in time for Easter 2026.
Who are the hosts at Bella Posta?
With the reopening of Bella Posta, new hosts will be welcoming guests at the house. Back in 1908, the Holzner family’s founder found his way to Ritten mountain and opened what is now the iconic Parkhotel Holzner. Four generations later, the Holzners still run the Parkhotel with passion - and are excited to add Bella Posta to their family of beautiful hotels in Oberbozen.
What’s changing at Villa Victoria?
The dependance - formerly Villa Victoria - is being completely rebuilt since 2024. While the new building’s facade will resemble the old house, its interior will feature 14 stylish holiday apartments, ready by May 2025. Some are perfect for solo travelers and couples, while others cater to families with children or groups of friends. Every apartment will have its own private outdoor space—whether it’s a small garden, a balcony, or a spacious terrace.
Will there be any dining options at Bella Posta Apartments?
Our holiday apartments are designed for freedom-loving self-caterers, featuring fully equipped kitchens. Guests will also receive a guide with recommendations for cafés, taverns, and restaurants in Oberbozen and Bolzano.
From Easter 2026, when the entire Bella Posta Hotel opens, apartment guests will have the option to enjoy breakfast at the hotel or book a full dining package.

The price of the Bella Posta Apartments includes:
- Stay for up to two adults (additional guests aged 3+ €25-50 per night, depending on the apartment type)
- Südtirol Guest Pass, a digital guest card for free public transport across South Tyrol
- Final cleaning and an interim cleaning every three days
- Private parking space next to the building
- Hiking backpack for use during your stay
- High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property
- Through the Bella Posta App, you can book unforgettable experiences, such as guided hikes, e-bike tours, Day Spa, tennis courts, and more at our new partner hotel.
What’s changing at Hotel Post?
The renovation of the former Hotel Post started in spring 2025, following a detailed planning phase. The first steps include refurbishing the roof, electrical, and plumbing systems, followed by a complete redesign of the rooms, common areas, the large panoramic terrace, and the pool area.
We aim to preserve as much of the historic garden as possible, including its beautiful old trees and flower beds, while also modernizing the parking area.
The new Hotel Bella Posta will offer around 20 rooms for couples and families, cozy lounges, a large dining hall, a stunning panoramic terrace, and an expanded spa area with a pool, sauna, and relaxation rooms.
The road that previously separated the garden from the hotel park will be rerouted, creating a car-free, fully accessible park area directly connected to the hotel.
